What is collected and why

Contact form: your name, email address and message. This data is used only to answer your enquiry and, if relevant, to prepare a possible engagement.

Direct email: the content of the messages you send, for the same purpose.

No account, no profiling, no automated decision-making, and no sale or sharing of your data for advertising purposes.

Legal basis

Steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b), and the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to the business (GDPR art. 6.1.f).

Recipients and hosting

Messages are processed through Netlify Forms, provided by Netlify, Inc. (101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA), which hosts this site. No other recipient.

This involves a transfer of data to the United States, covered by the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (Implementing Decision 2021/914) and by Netlify's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Retention

Enquiries are kept for a maximum of three years from the last contact, then deleted. Data linked to an actual engagement is kept for the legal accounting retention period.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Your language choice is stored in your browser's local storage (key "pm-signal-lab-lang"). It stays on your device, is never sent to a server, and is exempt from consent as it is strictly necessary to a service you requested. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability.

To exercise them, write to patrick@pmsignallab.com. You will receive an answer within one month.

If you consider your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to the messages received is protected by strong authentication.
